The new cams are forged with a different index from the factory cams, allowing for a taller front end adjustment using the factory adjusting bolt. This kit is the proper way to level your trucks (approx 2"-2-1/2") over factory height while still maintaining a decent ride. Results may vary. If you try to get 4" from these or any cams it will causes a harsh ride and accelerated front end wear. No matter hows cams you use. Remember the more you twist the torsion bar the stiffer the ride. New shocks are not required in most cases. However, we do recommend them. We are a professional performance shop and have installed a great number of these type of kits.
